Remote help
Sometimes it’s quickest if I can see or control your screen. Only do this after I’ve suggested a session on your ticket page and you’ve agreed to it there. You can watch everything and end it at any time by closing the app.
Quick Assist
Windows 10 and 11
- Press the Windows key, type “Quick Assist”, and open it.
- In the “Get help” section, wait for me to post a 6-digit code on your ticket page.
- Type the code in and choose to allow screen sharing or full control.
RustDesk
Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Download RustDesk from rustdesk.com (the official site only).
- Open it. You’ll see “Your Desktop” with an ID and a one-time password.
- Post the ID and one-time password in a reply on your ticket page, never by phone or text.
- On a Mac, allow Screen Recording and Accessibility when asked.
Chrome Remote Desktop
Any computer with Chrome
- Visit remotedesktop.google.com/support in Chrome.
- Under “Get Support”, install the helper if asked, then click “Generate Code”.
- Post the code in a reply on your ticket page. It expires after 5 minutes.
If anyone contacts you first and asks you to install one of these apps, it’s a scam. Close it and open a ticket instead.
